All Wakulla County schools now have an excellent search tool for Accelerated Reader books. The schools now have a union catalog of all the library materials in all the schools. In addition, the 4 elementary schools have purchased the Accelerated Reader's Enterprise Quiz List and will now have a quiz for every Accelerated Reader book!
To search for a book, go to the Wakulla County School District union catalog at: http://www.destinywakulla.org/
Students can then select their school or all schools and select "Accelerated Reader" under search Reading Programs. On the next screen, select a range in Reading Level and a range in Point Value, press Enter, and get a list of books that the school or schools own that fall within a desired Reading Level and/or Point Value.
Patrons now have the ability to find what books that are owned by the Wakulla Library are also Accelerated Reader (AR) books. Quiz List allows students to search for books in the public library by Reading Level and Point Value. This will help students find books that the school libraries may not own but will now have a quiz for. Quiz List The library is still working with Quizlist Interactive in helping this product work better.
